By implementing the right strategies, you can effectively enhance your presence on Twitter and increase the visibility of your Kickstarter campaign.

Why Twitter?

Twitter is one of the most popular social media platforms with millions of active users. Its unique microblogging format allows for quick and concise messaging, making it an ideal platform for sharing updates, news, and engaging with followers. The platform’s fast-paced nature and high engagement levels make it an excellent choice for promoting your Kickstarter campaign.

Tips to Enhance Your Performance on Twitter

1. Optimize Your Profile

Your Twitter profile is the first impression users get of your brand or project. Make sure your bio is clear, concise, and represents your Kickstarter campaign effectively. Use relevant keywords and include a link to your Kickstarter page to drive traffic directly to your campaign.

2. Engage with Your Audience

Building relationships with your followers is crucial for expanding your reach on Twitter. Respond to comments, retweet relevant content, and actively participate in discussions within your niche. 3. Utilize Hashtags

Hashtags are powerful tools for categorizing content and increasing discoverability. Research popular hashtags within your industry and incorporate them into your tweets. This will help your tweets reach a wider audience and attract individuals who are interested in similar topics, thus increasing the chances of attracting backers to your Kickstarter campaign.

2013 folkfest

By News, Uncategorized No Comments

This year I was invited to sell my work at the Edmonton Folk Music Festival. I was thrilled as I have been wanting to go to the event for years, but have been out of town camping during the weekend that it is on. I have several fond memories of going when I was a kid, and it is amazing on how much it has grown. In addition to being accepted to vend, I was sent several images of the events grounds to use as reference material for creating a new piece for the event. I decided to make the print a limited edition run of 75 and they were a great success! I do have a few available, if you are interested, visit my shop.

Sonic boom

By News, Uncategorized No Comments

After doing those Illustrations for the wedding invitations for Erika and Tim, I was forwarded to the Marketing department at SONiC 102.9, which requested me to design up a poster for their Sonicboom event. It’s a kind of commemorative gig poster for the new 2 day event, The poster was sold during the event to raise funds for the Youth Empowerment, Support and services (YESS) here in Edmonton. They printed 500 of the posters and I had the pleasure of sitting down in the station to sign & number all 500 of the posters, can you say hand cramp?! It was great fun, thanks to the folks at SOCiC 102.9!

CBC Downtown Banners

By Client, digital, News, Uncategorized No Comments

I have just wrapped up some long days preparing tons of new illustrations of Edmonton.  The rush comes from the Launch of new webpage by CBC about all the great buildings downtown.   They asked me if I could illustrate some banners for the webpage as a way of colorfully displaying Edmonton’s downtown.  In order to add the detail that I thought was required for such a scene and the tight deadline, I decided to illustrate these all digitally.  It also allows me to compose them into finished pieces that I can offer as prints, which will be available shortly and at Edmonton’s Artwalk, where I will be again set up infront of Vivid Print.  Below you can look at the banners and you can review all the new illustrations at my flickr site,

Hey all, long time no post.  I have lots to show you it is probably too much for this one post so I am going to do it over a few.

I had a show in March at SNAP Gallery.  I have mentioned before but I lost the post during a hick up with word press.  Ah the wonders of the digital age when things just go poof!!!  Anyways it was a fun to have the show and it was awesome to see everyone out for the opening night.  Here are some pictures of the show as it was up.

Some pictures of my booth set up at Artwalk in July on whyte ave. And some pictures of my Wooden Animal Spirits on display at The Paint Spot.

I also found this cool little video from the nice folks at The Edmontonian.  It is rather old but really neat to see!!!
